Nick's 13th Birthday Party at Home and at Red Robin

Nick celebrated his 13th birthday with his family on August 12, 2007.  He had a "Humane Society Wish List" party in which his guests brought donations (various items - dog and cat food, office supplies, etc) to help run the operations of the Michigan Humane Society.  He had a very nice time visiting his friends and relatives.  We also celebrated my Dad's birthday which happens to fall on the same day as Nick's.

On his actual birthday, August 16, Anne and I took Nick and Christine to Nick's favorite restaurant, Red Robin, for dinner and watching the Tigers beat the Yankees.  We went home and he opened his gifts from us.
