Kerry Rally

On November 1, 2004 Anne and Nicholas and I went to the John Kerry rally at Joe Louis Arena.

It was originally scheduled to be at Hart Plaza, but they changed it to Joe Louis due to the demand.

There were quite a few people there talking, basically both senators, a current and former governor, Stevie Wonder, Brendan Shanahan, labor leaders and Al Sharpton.

It was an amazing day.  Nicholas had the day off school so we took him with us.  Christine was at a friend's house all day.  Kerry's speech was very well delivered and motivating to all his supporters in attendance.
