Lions-Saints Game 2002

On Sunday September 29, 2002, Rick, Sam, Nicholas and I went to the Lions - Saints game.   Fully expecting the Lions to continue their losing streak, we were quite surprised at a Lions victory over the Saints.  The Lions dominated the game, starting with a kickoff return of 70 yards by Desmond Howard, and a fumble recovery by the Lions defense which resulted in a touchdown.  We had a great time visiting the new Ford Field and celebrating the Lions' first home victory in their new stadium.

We got there early.  It was sold out but many fans had not arrived yet.  Nicholas was very excited
